Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., who is professionally known as Snoop Dogg, 44, released his most recent studio album titled "Coolaid" in July. In a recent interview, he talked about the things he still wants to do with his fellow hip hop recording artist Andre Romelle Young, who is professionally known as Dr. Dre.
Dogg was asked in an interview with Rolling Stone about what it was like to be a fly on the wall when he and Dr. Dre hang out. According to Dogg, it was about music, clubbing, girls and going to a party when he and Dr. Dre used to hang out.
Now that Dogg and Dr. Dre are older, it is about perfection because they have a legacy and a dynasty so they do not want to mess up, the former said. He added that they are cooking up a couple of things so he was asked if an upcoming tour is included.
"I think that makes sense more than anything," Dogg replied. "A Snoop-Dre album would be amazing, but a tour even more, because we have legendary music the world has yet to see us perform globally."
According to Dogg, Dr. Dre surely wants to do a tour and he just wants the team in place. Dogg added that the dream team for Dr. Dre includes the two of them with "Love Game" collaborators Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, who recently headlined a set at FYF Fest in Exposition Park, LA Weekly reported.
If Dr. Dre's dream team goes on tour, it will be interesting to include Lamar's "Bad Blood" collaborator Taylor Swift. A duet performance between Eminem and Swift will be something that incites polarizing reactions from hip hop fans.
However, Rihanna's fans may not appreciate it if Swift performs the female verses in any of the collaboration songs the "Umbrella" singer recorded with Eminem. Rihanna and Eminem have recorded four collaboration songs namely, "Love the Way You Lie," "Love the Way You Lie 2," "Numb" and "The Monster."
