Almost a month ago, “Ghostbuster” actress Leslie Jones was mad about the nude photo leaks apparently stolen from her phone.
On Sunday, the comedian showed she is over the incident by joking about the hack at the Emmy Awards. Jones joked that the people who kept the results of voting for the winners were the same people who should have been working on her Twitter account.
She said, “Put that in the vault, please! Y’all over her using your skills to protect Best Voice Over in a French Sitcom? Meanwhile I’m butt naked on CNN. I just wanted to feel beautiful, y’all. Can a sister feel beautiful?” reported EOnline.
Besides publishing Jones’s nude photos, the leaks also included the actress’s personal information. The FBI is now looking for the hackers who broke into Jones’s iCloud and mobile phone, and posted the information and naked photos online.
She told representative of Ernst & Young, “Let’s be real. Y’all protecting something that no one is trying to steal. Don’t nobody wanna know about boring Emmy secrets.”
The wisecracks resulted in some netizens suggesting that Jones host the Emmy Awards in the future, reports People. It was the first time that Jones commented on the hacking incident. Jones, besides being hacked, was also bullied online but got a Twitter troll who is racist suspended.
