Struggling squad AFC Bournemouth (1-3-1, 4 points) and surprise contenders Everton FC (4-0-1, 13 points) will meet each other in a 2016-2017 encounter at the Vitality Stadium this Saturday, Sep. 24.

Bournemouth had been struggling to find wins since the beginning of the season when they lost to Manchester United, 1-3, during their opener. Since then, the Cherries won once, lost twice, and drawn one match to settle at the 17th spot of the league table, only a point above the bottom three relegation zone so far.
Head coach Eddie Howe's squad was coming off a highly disappointing 0-4 defeat to current league leaders Manchester City, who is the second Manchester team to crush them this season, at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday, as per Fox Sports.
The Citizen's Kevin De Bruyne, Kelechi Iheanacho, Raheem Sterling, and Ilkay Gundogan scored one goal each at the 15th, 25th, 48th, and 66th to complete the hosts' four-goal haul while at the same time shutting out the Cherries.
Meanwhile, Everton remained undefeated in five games as they put together a four-game winning run after settling to a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in their season-opener.
The Toffees drubbed newly-promoted side Middlesbrough, 3-1, last Saturday at their home field of Goodison Park to put themselves at the second spot of the current league table, Daily Mail Online reported.
An own goal from keeper Maarten Stekelenburg gave Boro a 1-0 lead at the 21st, but it proved to be their first and last goal in the contest.

Everton is now only two points behind City in the overall standings after five rounds of competitions.
