Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's alleged altercation, involving their eldest kid Maddox, was caught on camera. The alleged incident believed to be the tipping point for the actress to file for divorce, thereby, ending her two-year marriage and 12-year relationship.
The incident happened on Sept. 14 while the estranged couple, along with their two kids, was on the flight when the actor got drunk and started yelling. As the plane touched down for fuel at Minnesota's International Falls Airport, the actor claimed to have continued his alleged rant before trying to leave the place in a fuel truck on the tarmac.
The whole act was caught on camera. Several reports claimed that the actor can be clearly seen wasted in the footage.
"He got drunk and was fighting with Angie," a source told Us Weekly. "Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad's face."
Reports also stated that Pitt is now being investigated by the FBI after being accused of verbal and physical abuse against his children. The claim is being investigated as a jurisdictional issue due to the alleged incident taking place in the air.
The children are also expected to be spoken to by the concerned investigating authority. It is rumored that the authorities had been tipped off anonymously by either someone on the plane or at the airport.
Another source close to the actor revealed to USA Today that he is taking this matter very seriously and is cooperating fully. The source also claimed that the allegations are exaggerated and the actor will always do whatever is best for his kids.
A day after the alleged altercation took place, Jolie filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for sole physical custody of their six children, including 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The actress declared publicly that the decision to file for divorce had been made for the health of the family.
Jolie and Pitt reportedly fell for each other in 2004 while filming "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" in 2004. At the time, the actor was married to "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston.
