Here are some tips to keep playing Pokemon Go on a jailbroken or rooted devices.

According to reports, the latest Pokemon Go update blocked those gamers who are using jailbroken or rooted devices.

On the newest update of the game, the developer had fixed several glitches and bugs for Pokemon Go. However, reports indicate that the newest update blocked the jailbroken and rooted devices.

Niantic Labs said on their blog post that it will remove scrapers and bots from the game and the company emphasized that the rooted or jailbroken devices are not supported by them.

After the Pokemon Go update, gamers who are using those apps got a notification saying 'This software, operating system or device is not compatible with the game' when the app is opened.

While the aim of the update for the game is to boost the Pokemon Go without using any bot or cheats, a few gamers are not happy about this. Several gamers have turned to Reddit forums in expressing their thoughts about the newest update made by the company.

According to reports, some gamers are using jailbroken or rooted devices for personal reasons only.

However, for those Pokemon Go gamers who want to progress quicker than the other gamers, they have discovered some other ways to do so.

There is a new app that can mask a user's rooted Android device to be detected by the Pokemon Go app. Magisk (Magic Mask) is developed by XDA-Developers and the first option for those gamers with rooted Android devices.

While for players who are using jailbroken Apple devices, they are turning for the app Masterball created by CokePokes.

Niantic Labs has been eager in tracking down gamers or cheaters who are using bots and third party apps to level up quicker.  

Meanwhile, Pokemon Go Plus primary features are being able to spin a PokeStop whenever one is close by and catching a creature without pulling out their smartphone. Both the features has its own set of cons and pros.

For instance, Pokemon Go Plus does not specify what kind or type of creature is nearby. Moreover, players cannot choose what kind of ball their trainer is going to use to capture a Pokemon.

Furthermore, Pokemon Go players can just throw one PokeBall, so if they are not able to catch the creature on the first throw, it will flee straight away.
