In the dress-fitting images, a box was superimposed over the gown, while Pippa is seen smiling. The picture was taken by her mother, Carole, using a camera phone.

In his message, “mas” demanded the payment within 48 hours as of 4 p.m. of Friday. He wrote, “This isn’t an auction it will be a simple process of the highest bidder.” The hacker said because of the strict privacy laws in the UK, he intends to make a quick sale of the stolen photos to a U.S. publication, although he posted the message as a heads up to British media. He offered to talk with potential buyers through Whatsapp, an encrypted messenger service.

With this incident, Pippa was added to the list of recent celebrity hacks, the most prominent of whom are Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence who nude photos were published in the hacking event called Fappening.
