According to reports, the smartphone manufacturer is sending out invites to the forthcoming event.
It is expected that the company will introduce two new special smartphone features - 256 GB of internal storage and an 8 GB of RAM to its forthcoming Mi Note 2 Pro. The storage capacity is twice as much as what most handsets are offering.
The smartphone company is known for its stylish mobile phones. Several people are expecting awesome things from the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro. Speculations are making the rounds that the smartphone's body will be made of metal, according to a Digital Trends report.
Furthermore, according to recent leaks, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro could have curved edges, much like Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Smartphones are loaded with dual-lens setups in recent phone camera technology. The upcoming Xiaomi device may follow this trend. Reports indicate that a curved edge will feature a 12 MP camera and a flat screen will be equipped with 16 MP camera.

Also, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro will don the headphone connector together with a USB type-C, a Quick Charge 3.0 feature that claims to fill the battery of the device to 83% in 30 minutes.
Reports indicate that if the company makes a 4 GB model, it will cost about $375. A 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM option will be priced at $450, TechnoBuffalo reported. The 256 GB storage space and 8 GB RAM option will be priced at $525.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro and Mi 5S will be launched this September 27.
