The stakes are getting higher in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and the fates of the characters become more and more unpredictable.
Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss previously confirmed that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will only run with 7 episodes while 6 episodes are being order for the eighth and final season. With such a short amount of time to tell the story, it is likely a lot of character appearances and storylines will be cut down to polish the final output.
Is Sansa going to get killed off?
Speaking to Variety at the 2016 Emmys red carpet, actress Sophie Turner hinted that people are getting more sentimental on the set due to the fact that the "Game of Thrones" only has two seasons left.
"It's quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end. People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other's presence."
She also revealed that viewers are going to see less and less characters as the show moves forward. We've got one more season... Well, not all of us."
Who is leaving the show remains a big mystery. Considering that the show is running ahead of the books, no one really has an idea as to which key player is getting the boot.
Big battles underway in "Game of Thrones" Season 7
The Battle of the Bastards was one of the biggest battle scenes ever seen in television history. It was so good that even the 2016 Emmy Awards took notice, and gave that single episode a total of seven awards. It currently holds the most number of awards for a single episode of television.
Another battle scene - two, actually - is rumored to happen in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. According to Watchers on the Wall, the show is going to film a battle in Malpartida, Sapin's Los Barruecos National Monument.
It was also revealed that carriages or wagons will be used to bring characters in, which leads to speculations that this battle will involve the Lannisters, characters previously seen riding carriages.
What's more, HBO is reportedly casting for Unsullied soldiers. Does this mean a Cersei v. Daenerys throw down is definitely on the table?
