PlayStation Experience 2016 is set to take off on December 3 and players will be given the chance to try out the new PS4 Pro on 4K HDR-enabled TVs during the said event.
Sony astonished the world when they finally revealed the PlayStation 4 Pro that is basically an upgraded version of their current PS4 line. The console will allow players to enjoy their games in 4K at stable framerates which was deemed almost impossible in the past few years.
The PS4 Pro is actually Sony's move in the new generation of consoles even though none of the video game companies would not admit that they will be releasing next-gen consoles. Microsoft is set to launch their own Xbox One Project Scorpio for holiday 2017.
Fans who want to try out the PS4 Pro before buying can do so at the PlayStation Experience 2016 as Sony will hook up the new consoles with 4K TVs, GamesRadar has learned. The console itself will be launched on November 10 but interested customers could try it out first with 4K TVs considering that they would also need to buy both the PS4 Pro and a new TV if they want the full experience.
PlayStation Experience 2016 will happen inside the Anaheim Convention Center and will run for two days up to December 4. Besides the PS4 Pro, the event will also be the platform for new PS4 exclusives.
PlayStation Experience 2016 Ticket Prices
The regular Two-Day Ticket costs $75 but the Early Bird ticket only costs $60 and will be available until October 16 or until supplies last, Express.co.uk reported. Customers who want to go for just one day can also buy the Saturday Only Ticket for $45 or the Sunday Only Ticket for $40.
Sony could also demo the PlayStation VR for those who plan to buy the virtual reality peripheral for the PlayStation 4 and the PS4 Pro. More games are also expected to be unveiled during the event.
Street Fighter V fans will also want to see the Capcom Cup after the PlayStation Experience 2016 on Saturday at 6:00PM. Sony's event starts at 10 in the morning.
