Gust producer Keisuke Kikuchi has revealed more "Nights of Azure 2" details and what to expect from it. It will also have multiple endings.
Kikuchi told Dual Shockers in an interview that the previous game gained a lot of positive feedback about the theme of beautiful girls. They wanted to carry that over to this title as well. He also revealed that there are three heroines in this video game.
The producer confirmed that there is a love triangle relationship that will happen within the story. He also revealed that there will be additional female characters that will appear. They will also have their own different roles within the game with different personalities.
Kikuchi and his team refer to these characters outside of the main story as lilies. Players will be able to meet each of these girls, and they will be able to pair up with them.
Players can also change the combinations with these lilies. These girls can change attacks and actions in battle depending on who they pair up with. They can also build relationships and bonds of trust with different lilies in the game.
Kikuchi revealed that there will be multiple endings for this game. This will follow the route of the other Gust titles, which also had multiple endings. This time around, it will not be based on the relationship between the characters, but more on the overall story.
The actions of the players within the game will affect the ending of the story. The relationships between the characters are for in-game events only, and to see how they build up during the game. Kikuchi clarified that it will not affect the endings.
Kikuchi revealed that the game will take place after the events of the prequel. Arnice is an agent of the Curia, while Arshe is an agent of a new organization. The two main characters will have some relations between the two, and their positions are kind of similar.
Arnice was covered with the demon blood, which turned her into a half-demon. Arshe died at the start, and she gets revived by infusing her body with the blood of demons. They are both half-demons.
According to the official website of "Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon," the first-print copies will include a product code to download. The content will be something for use in-game.
The Premium Box will have a lot of content like a product code for a character exclusive costume. It will have the visual book, the official soundtrack, a scented B3 poster, and a special 3D card. It will also have the beautiful girl bromide set.
The Special Premium Box will have more content than the Premium Box. Aside from the items from the other box, it will have a secret-warm feeling bath poster, an acrylic key chain set, and a special A3 tapestry set.
"Nights of Azure 2" will be released in Japan on Dec. 22, and a Western release next year. This will be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
