Capcom revealed that "Street Fighter 5" will receive a new Halloween-themed content and the new content will only be available for just a month.
Capcom assembled some special Halloween-themed DLC for "Street Fighter 5," which is expected to make a debut next week. The "Street Fighter 5's" new content release will definitely adhere to the expected Halloween season.
"Street Fighter 5" will get a number of premium costumes for characters as well as a special stage, all themed around Halloween, as revealed on the Capcom-Unity blog.
The blog post does not specify how many costumes will be available, but going by the images provided, it looks like the costume packs may include eight color variants.
The Halloween-themed stage launch for "Street Fighter 5" will be following the traditional jack o' lantern decorations accordingly. In addition, it will bring forth some sneaky cameos, namely Necro and Effie who will be seen standing by a witch's cauldron-with. Both characters are plucked from "Street Fighter 3."
According to Game Spot, the Halloween stage is actually a reworked version of the Russian stage and seven new costumes, though with plenty of jack-'0-lanterns, candles and more. The confirmed characters in "Street Fighter 5" to get these Halloween costumes include Ryu, Vega, Cammy, Alex, Charlie, Juri and Necali.
"Street Fighter V" rated the Halloween stage at $1.99 real-world money, but fans can also acquire this particular map with 40,000 of Fight Money.
"Street Fighter 5" Halloween update is expected to be available on PS4 and PC starting on Oct. 11 until Nov. 29.
