"Stranger Things" Season 2 will premiere in 2017 and may see a new actress to portray another patient from the Hawkins National laboratory similar to Eleven.
There have been speculations that Netflix and the Duffer Brothers are now casting for new characters to join "Stranger Things" series when it premieres. When the production team revealed that the series will return for the second season, viewers got excited even though there has been no release date yet.
"Stranger Things" series has been one of the most-watched shows to date, despite the first season coming to an end just months ago. There have been reports that casting call posted on Backstage for casting Taylormade which is a firm that has previously worked with "Stranger Things" in casting extras for the show. When the casting call was revealed in an untitled TV show, fans were quick to assume that they are looking for more characters for the series' upcoming season.
After eight hour-long successful episodes, the series managed to make its mark though it left fans hanging after Eleven's demise in the season finale episode. Fortunately, Matt Duffer of the Duffer Brothers and creator of the show told Empire that the sequel of the show would be more like a continuation than a second season. Duffer also promised that the upcoming season would reveal mysteries in the series especially those involving the Demogorgon, the Department of Energy and evil forces in the loop.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 is set to be shot in Atlanta, Georgia and fans have been coming up with speculations about its storyline. Most of the theories center on Eleven with fans wondering if she died during the season one finale or she will make a dramatic comeback in the upcoming season.

Eleven's character has been one of the most loved casts in "Stranger Things" series and actress Millie Bobby Brown who plays that part confirmed to be indeed ready for her role in the series. She recently cut off her very long hair to play the part of Eleven in series.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2017 on Netflix although production has not started yet.
