This is good news for fans waiting to see "Wolverine 3" on the big screens. The popular hero is back with his claws on his final run as Wolverine, where viewers could see an older version of Logan.
The third installment of the franchise is simply titled "Logan" with the setting based in the future. "Wolverine 3" storyline is based on "Old Man Logan" adapted from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's popular comic book.
"As for our hero, well, he's older now and it's clear his abilities aren't what they once were," director James Mangold told The Hollywood Reporter. "He's fading on the inside and his diminished healing factor keeps him in a constant state of chronic pain - hence, booze as a painkiller."
The first poster of the favorite "X-Men" character was unveiled on the director's Twitter account, where a small hand depicted holding Logan's hand with his claws. There have been speculations that "Wolverine 3" will see Logan as a family man living in a community ruled by villains with his wife and children.

The new installment is reportedly going to revolve around the relationship of Logan with a child, who is either his flesh and blood or a stranger that he met while on his journey. A different Logan will be seen this time as he faces his new life after leaving his mission as a superhero.
Mangold also unveiled a part of the script that showed that "Wolverine 3" will have a varied Western style. Old Man Logan is characterized with a different tone similar to Clint Eastwood or John Wayne's cowboy heroes, according to IGN.
As Logan tends to the farm as he raises his children, he will appear to be calm as he promised not to commit any violence. In this new chapter, viewers will see Logan resisting to use or show his claws even up to the point that his own family is placed in danger. The new trait of Logan is something that the story will not easily reveal.
"Wolverine 3" is slated to be released on March 3, 2017. Check out a few details on "Wolverine" first posters:
