Lee Min Ho and Suzy are reported to be planning their wedding already. This news was a big surprise for fans since the couple has always been involved in break-up rumors for months. The couple's respective agencies even had to issue statements to deny the split.
It appears that despite the non-stop reports that Lee and Suzy's relationship are on the rocks, the pair is actually enjoying a good relationship and it is going strong as ever. In fact, it was reported that Lee wanted to propose and get married before he enlist in the army.
As everyone knows, Lee is already 29 years old so it means that he is supposed to go to the army any time now. The earliest that he can begin his military duty is late next year as he still have lots of projects to complete like the sequel to the smash hit movie "Train to Busan."
Now, even with the speculations of imminent wedding with Suzy, the break-up rumors still marred the couple's 2-year relationship. Even before they could confirm or deny the marriage reports, there are fresh news that they have already canceled their supposed wedding plans.
As for the reason for the cancellation, it was reported that jealousy was the main culprit. It was mentioned that Suzy is against her boyfriend's closeness with "Heirs" co-actress Park Shin Hye. On the other hand, it was said that Kim Woo Bin, Suzy's leading man in "Uncontrollably Fond," was another reason that is hindering the marriage, for they have supposedly developed special feelings for one another after working on their drama, Yonhap News reported.
Incidentally, Lee and Suzy's wedding rumors started when the "Bounty Hunters" actor opened up about his wedding plans in an interview with Sporela. When he was asked about the status of his relationship with Suzy, he candidly said that he is hoping to get married so he can protect her fully.
During the interview, Lee was also quoted as saying, "a man who is mature enough should be true to his words." His quote was assumed to be referring to his statement that he would like to marry his girlfriend, that he will make good of what he just said.
Meanwhile, if the reports are correct, Lee will propose to girlfriend Suzy after wrapping up filming for his upcoming movie "Legend of the Blue." The couple will then tie the knot before Lee leaves for the army.
