Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung's great teamwork together is just one of the elements that contributed to their amazing on-chemistry. Recently, the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor revealed how he and Kim developed their close friendship on-set.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" marked the start of a close bond between two South Korean celebrities. The KBS historical series also served as the first time that Park and Kim worked on an acting project together. In an interview with China's Mango TV, as cited by Chosun, the actor recounted that they initially had an awkward working relationship.
Despite Park being older than Kim, the actor considers the former child star as his senior in the South Korean entertainment industry. However, the two stars eventually became close while filming the KBS historical series.
Park eve made mention of a specific scene that helped to erase any awkwardness between him and the 17-year old actress. In episode 1 that aired on Aug. 22, Park's Yeong and Kim's Ra On fell into a hole in the ground that resulted in a display of the crown prince's petulant and comedic actions.
Filming the pit scene helped them to grow closer to each other, according to Park. Shortly after shooting the said scene, the two celebrities started to eat out together and would even contact each other.
In other news, the track "My Dearest" sung by Park for the KBS drama's soundtrack topped various South Korean music charts, according to All Kpop. Released on Oct. 11, Tuesday, the song nabbed the first place shortly after its debut.
The song features lyrics that depict the feelings of Park's character toward his loved one. Similar to the actor's emotional performance on the KBS series, Park's vocals also expressed various emotions as he sung the said track.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" will air its final two episodes on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18 on KBS. Watch the funny pit scene featured in the drama's first episode below:
