From Earth-2, Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (Violett Beane) will return to Central City in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 3 titled "Magenta," which airs on Oct. 18, Tuesday, on The CW. Their arrival is in time with the attack set to disturb Central City.
Along with Team Flash, Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) is thrilled to reunite with Earth-2 Wells and Jesse in "Magenta." Wells has something to tell Barry and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker).
With all the powers of a speedster, Jesse has been saving people on his Earth, and Wells wants Barry and Caitlin to know that. Concerned about Jesse's safety, Wells wants Barry and Caitlin to convince Beane's character to stop using her powers.
"Magenta" is written by Judalina Neira and David Kob and directed by Armen V. Kevorkian. The episode title refers to the guest role to be played by Joey King.
Magenta is a new meta who has the power to control metal. She is in a mission to terrorize Central City.
Also featured in "Magenta" are Iris West (Candice Patton), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale), Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and Julian Albert (Tom Felton). Bethany McNab and Zenaida Telfair are playing an employee and a nurse, respectively, in the episode.
Before playing the episode title role in "Magenta," King played Greta Grimly in "Fargo" from 2014 to 2015 and recently Maddisyn Crawford in "Tween Fest." On the big screen, she starred in "Independence Day: Resurgence," which was released on June 24, with Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Maika Monroe, Vivica A. Fox, Angelababy, Chin Han, Lance Lim, Zeb Sanders, Ron Yuan, Grace Huang, Stephen Oyoung, Ben Wang and Sam Quinn, among others.
