"This Week, My Wife is Having an Affair" will mark the first time that Lee and Song starred together in a drama project. The two Korean celebrities will play husband and wife, Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon, respectively.
The JTBC drama's storyline will revolve around Soo Yeon who is on the verge of having an affair while Hyun Woo will consult netizens on how to deal with his wife's impending betrayal. Meanwhile, viewers can expect to see a mix of comedic moments and tense encounters between the two stars as they portray a couple whose marriage may soon end.
In other news, photo stills released by JTBC through its social networking service featured the "Running Man" cast member as a college student. The two images, acquired by All Kpop, showed a young looking Song with her hair down in soft waves and the tips of her bangs nearly reaching eyes.
She also wore a simple white long-sleeved shirt and a denim skirt. To complete her college look, Song sported a cream-colored backpack slung over both shoulders.
It appears that the JTBC drama will feature a backstory to Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon's romance. A scene that involves the two characters' first meeting during their college days will be shown in the upcoming series.
