Crystal Palace has dropped to the 11th place of the current league table after going on a two-game losing run following a 1-1 draw with Everton in round seven. The team is tied on points with Leicester City but has a superior goal difference, putting them a spot above the reigning champs.

The Eagles were thrashed by Leicester City, 1-3, during their most recent match held on the road at the King Power Stadium last Saturday, Yahoo Sports reported.

Head coach Alan Pardew's side was tentative from the kickoff. They were able to hold their own, though, until the deadlock was broken by Leicester forward Ahmed Musa in the 42nd minute.

Two more goals for the Foxes in the second half, courtesy of Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs in the 63rd and 80th minutes respectively, made it a 3-0 lead before French midfielder Yohan Cabaye put Palace on the board with a tricky shot in the 85th.

Meanwhile, Liverpool nipped reeling side West Bromwich Albion, 2-1, at their home ground of Anfield also last Saturday, as per the Mirror.

Senegalese winger Sadio Mane opened the scoring for head coach Jürgen Klopp's boys, taking the lead in the 20th minute before Brazilian winger Philippe Coutinho doubled it 15 minutes later.

It as a comfortable game for the Reds as they took the two-point lead at the halftime break, continuing to dominate ball possession for the rest of the match.

A late goal from West Brom, courtesy of defender Gareth McAuley in the 81st minute, gave the match a nervous finish, but Liverpool easily fended off all attempts for a potential equalizer until the final whistle.
