New details and possible spoilers of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will feature two villains in the film and more sequels coming soon.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding two villains from the Spider-Man mythos appearing in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as a report from Schmoes Know that this character will have a huge impact on Peter Parker/Spider-Man's (Tom Holland) life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
These two villains are teased to be Norman Osborn/Green Goblin and Eddie Brock/Venom. They are considered as Spider-Man's greatest foes as Green Goblin was responsible for killing Gwen Stacy, Peter's first love and failure in the comics, while Venom has deadly vendetta against him for abandoning the symbiote and for destroying Brock's career as a journalist.
In addition, there is also a non-powered character who is dating Peter's aunt, May Parker (Marisa Tomei) and he is played by Logan Marshall-Green. The two will likely butt-heads due to the fact that Green tries to connect to Peter, while the latter does not approve of him trying to be a father like figure.
Three villains will appear in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and they are Adrian Toomes/The Vulture (Michael Keaton), Shocker (Bookem Woodbine) and The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus).
Meanwhile, Holland teased that a Spider-Man film sequel after homecoming as he told WWD that the second movie could in the works along with a new villain.
Although there are no announcement yet regarding "Spider-Man: Homecoming's" teaser trailer, Sony and Marvel are already pleased with what they made and Holland's portrayal of the web-slinger in "Captain America: Civil War" had been reinvigorated with interest by old and young movie goers and Marvel fans.
Holland added that Spider-Man's appearance in "Avengers: Infinity War" is as he stated in an interview that it is still "up in the air" and negotiations are being made.
Previous reports revealed that Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will join the Avengers during the events of "Infinity War" along with the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight Thanos (Josh Brolin). It is safe to say that Holland's will likely reprise his role as Spider-Man in "Avengers Infinity War" or in the next Avengers film considering that "Ant-Man" star Evangeline Lilly teased that Hope Van Dyne/Wasp appearance in the next instalment.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
