Fans must brace themselves for an action-packed episode. According to Spoiler TV's description of "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 8 episode 3 "You Decided That I was Worth Saving," Enzo continues to resist being controlled by the mysterious power. He continues to fight the control over him.
Meanwhile, Bonnie continues to fight for Enzo. She is determined to bring him back even if it means to put her life at risk. She finds herself at the centre of a "deadly game" wherein she is faced with one of the most difficult challenges of her life. She is forced to make a tough choice and the decision involves two of the most important people in her life. It is assumed that these two people are Damon and Enzo.
At the Armoury, Alaric makes more interesting discoveries. He continues to learn about ancient artefacts. While researching, he stumbles upon a mysterious artefact that he believes can help them in bringing Damon and Enzo back and freeing them from whatever is controlling their mind.
Fans must brace themselves for an appearance of Michael Trevino's Tyler Lockwood, who will play an important role to rescue Damon when his downward spiral begins. Lockwood talks to Damon and put some sense into him.
