Fumito Ueda's past games always had their audio play a vital role in immersing players in its worlds. The audio presentation in this video game will also play a very crucial part in it to give a full experience of exploring its world with Trico.

The track was orchestrated and conducted by Takeshi Furukawa and was performed by the Trinity Boys Choir, London Symphony Orchestra, and the London Voices. The performance was held at Air Studios.

The music of "The Last Guardian" is described as having a lot of emotion and sometimes being haunted. It beautifully complements the story of the boy and the creature, which are all alone in the ancient ruins and working together to escape it for freedom.
