Green Man Gaming has issued a statement apologizing to their customers due to issues with codes of two game titles. Several customers have already complained of the invalidity of their codes.
The Green Man Gaming Team wrote on their official website that the demand for the two recently launched video game titles, "Battlefield 1" and Titanfall 2," was unexpected over the last few days. They explained that it is their mission to put the customer first and offer them the best prices with a wide range of products. They are now currently looking into the issue and they have sincerely apologized to all of their customers, which they confirmed they were slow to respond to.
The team revealed that their customer service team takes pride in look after their customers who buy their video games. They promised that they will be putting on extra customer service staff to this particular issue. They also said that they are going to dedicate everything in making sure all questions that the customers will ask will be answered right away.
The frustrations of their customers who have pre-ordered the two games recently have been recognized by the team. They know that these customers will not be able to play the games right away, but they are trying their best in working through the tickets as fast as they can.
Several customers wrote on the official Reddit page of Green Man Gaming to complain of their frustrations on the issue of the pre-orders. Some of them expressed that their keys were all invalid. Some of them even complained that they paid for the pre-orders, but the keys did not turn up at all.
One Reddit user revealed that he bought two copies of one of the video game titles. One the copies were for him and the other was for his relative so that they can play on the weekend. The first game key worked and installed right away, while the other was an invalid one.
The customers have already submitted their tickets to the online game store for either a refund or another key. At that time, the customer service did not respond at all to them.
This is not the first time Green Man Gaming had certain issues with popular video game titles at launch day. This also happened during "Overwatch's" launch day in May, and when "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" was released last year.
