It was just last September when Apple Inc. has launched its new iteration of its iPhone. Now, the Cupertino-based company is reportedly on the works for the iPhone 8.
Vine Report had learned that there are speculations that the iPhone 8 will be having major upgrades both on its external and internal attributes. This was due to the upgrades that has made by the company with its new iteration of MacBook Pro which features OLED strip known as the Touch Bar. With this, it is just safe that Apple Inc. will be enhancing the upcoming iPhone.
When it comes with the features and specs, MacRumors reported that the iPhone 8 will be having a radical redesign. This is because it may sport an edge-to-edge display that ditch the top and bottom bezels. With this upgrade, the Touch ID and the camera may be located directly into the display. Based on the rumored design, the display would fill up the whole front of the iPhone 8. There were also talks suggesting that Apple will use a 5.5-inch or larger display which will be a flexible OLED.
As for the body, speculations propose Apple Inc. will be removing the aluminum which is used in the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, and SE. Instead the company might be re-adopting a glass body that is akin to the body that was used in the iPhone 4. Also, it was reported that at least one iPhone model arriving in 2017 will use a glass body; Catcher Technology and Ming-Chi Kuo stated.
Under the iPhone 8's chassis it is expected to be engineered with a 10-nanometer A11 chip that will be both faster and more efficient. Some reports also recommend that it could also include features like long-range wireless charging and biometric additions like iris or facial scanning.
Moreover, it is too early to affirm anything yet as the iPhone 8 is expected to be unveiled next year. But one thing is for sure Apple Inc. is now working on the next iteration of iPhone.
