"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" star Lauren Graham recent slammed rumors that her character Lorelai had a kid with Luke.
While speaking with Vanity Fair Italia (via Gilmore News), the actress said, "The relationship with Luke? All I can say is that she still visits the Diner regularly and that coffee will be spilled. Did they have any kids together? Maybe there are kid-sized baseball caps hiding in the bushes somewhere, but we didn't notice."
Meanwhile, Graham also opened up about Lorelai's relationship with Luke in the Netflix revival. According to her, Lorelai and Luke will have a growing journey in the four-episode series. "Lorelai is suffering from arrested psychological development, like I'm still a teenager right? But now it's like she's suddenly realizing her teenage years are over and it's time to make peace with her age, to understand what is appropriate and what is not appropriate anymore. With regards to Luke as well: theirs will be a growing together story," she confirmed.
In other news, Lorelai's daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel) will also go through some relationship struggles in the revival. But in the end, she will be choosing the man she wants to grow old with. Even though Rory's relationship is very exciting, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is discouraging fans from focusing only on the character's love life because there's so much in store for her.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will be released on Netflix on Nov. 25.
