Many are waiting for the television series "Sherlock" Season 4 to air on January 2017. Meanwhile, fresh news suggests that Tom Hiddleston was confirmed to be portraying as Sherrinford Holmes.
News Everyday had learned that the "Sherlock" Season 4 was speculated to feature another BBC actor Tom Hiddleston after a recent vital meeting between the "Thor: Ragnarok" star and "Sherlock" lead actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Nonetheless, there is news denying that their dealings had something to do with the anticipations that Hiddleston is joining "Sherlock" Season 4.
In contrasts, there are reports stating that Benedict Cumberbatch has publicized that Tom Hiddleston will not be a part of "Sherlock" Season 4 as Sherrinford Holmes. On the other hand, the rumor is still prevalent regarding Hiddleston's role in the show once it comes back on air.
Additionally, MNR Daily reported that Benedict Cumberbatch might take a long hiatus before Season 5. It can be remembered that even before "Sherlock" Season 3 ended back around January 2014, executive producer and co-creator Steven Moffat stated that the team was not only planning Season 4, but also Season 5 of the series. Unluckily, due to some problems in scheduling, the production for the fourth season did not start until April, which is more than two years since the third season ended.
As everyone is busy with different projects, it is not shocking that the "Sherlock" star, Cumberbatch, has hinted that it will be a while before the television series' fans can see another installment of the show. Nevertheless, Cumberbatch did not close his doors completely.
Since the "Sherlock" Season 4 will air on January 2017 it is for the audiences to see if Tom Hiddleston will portray the Sherrinford Holmes role. Moreover, it is just a month and a half of waiting until the much awaited Season 4 airs.
