The latest game details for "Fallout 4" will feature PS4 mods coming this week, patch 1.8 and "Fallout 5" rumors debunked.
Bethesda launched the PlayStation 4 mods for "Fallout 4" this week alongside a new patch 1.8 update for the game.The game developers officially confirmed the "Fallout 4" mods as they both work on the game along with "Skyrim". Bethesda added that "Fallout 4" will also have a 4K resolution support when the game is ported on Sony's updated PS4 console, the PlayStation 4 Pro.
However, it seems that the PS4 modding sized in "Fallout 4" will not be increased as Bethesda's vice president Pete Hines stated that mods present are the only ones that were approved in the game, Express UK reported.
As for the patch 1.8 update, it feature a number of game fixes such as sound effects that would not persist after reloading in an area, an occasional crash when exiting to the Main Menu, and trying to start a New Game, issues with spaces in Mods search queries, rate “WIP” Work in Progress Mods, and Mods can now only be rated after they have been downloaded and doubled the amount of browse-able tiles in the Mods menu.
Other problems include a rare crash that would occur when a Mod had an unexpected data structure, an issue on the Library and/or Favorite Mods categories would not display correctly in specific situation, mods images would not load when scrolling quickly and a Sentry Bot firing dual Gatling Lasers causing the audio to cut out.
In other new, it seems that Bethesda will not be working on "Fallout 5" anytime soon.
"Fallout 4" voice-actor Ryan Alosio pulled a prank on the gaming fans by teasing a possible "Fallout" sequel soon. Alosio made a comment on an Instagram account called Fallout Temple stating that "Fallout 5" was in the works and quickly deleted the comment, FragHero reported.
Despite the statement, "Fallout 5" rumors continue to surface online as several gaming websites stated that if the sequel will happen it will most probably work with the next-generation gaming platforms and will have superb graphics quality.
Unique characters are also expected, as well as new gaming modes, new game engine. and gameplay features. It was even speculated that a "Fallout" sequel will be released sometime in 2020 and will take place in another location, such as a post-apocalyptic New York or Japan.
"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
