Black Friday 2016 is less than one week away and retail giants are already advertising deals for Sony's PlayStation 4 consoles, games, and controllers. A cornucopia of discounts at many brick-and-mortar and online stores including Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Toys 'R' Us and GameStop will be offered the day after Thanksgiving that launches the holiday shopping season. The big sales follow the Japanese corporation's release of the PS4 Pro console earlier this month and PlayStation VR headset in October.
Bundles
Black Friday shoppers can find $250 deals for the 500 GB PS4 Slim Uncharted Bundle. GameStop, Target and Toys 'R' Us are offering the console/game package at that price point, while Walmart is adding a $30 gift card. Costco has the same bundle for $279.
Best Buy has a sweeter deal. Its PS4 Slim Uncharted Bundle also throws in "Ratchet & Clank" and "The Last of Us Remastered" as stocking stuffers, according to CNET.
Kohl's has the best PS4 deal in terms of low prices. It is offering the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" bundle with $75 in Kohl's cash for a super-low sale price of $175.
Fans of early shopping deals can get a free PS4 Pro at Best Buy. The consumer electronics retailer is including the no-charge item when people buy a Toshiba 4K TV.
Games
GameSpot has price cuts for many PS4 games. They include "Star Wars Battlefront" ($10), "Ratchet & Clank" ($10), "Batman: Arkham Knight" ($10), "No Man's Sky" ($20), "Fallout 4" ($20),"Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" ($40), and "World of Final Fantasy" ($40).
Best Buy is offering a ton of specials on PlayStation games including titles slashed to $15.
Walmart also has several games as low as $8. They include "Assassin's Creed Syndicate."
Target's offerings include PlayStation games with price tags as low as $8. That includes 50 percent off on doorbuster deals including "Gears of War 4," "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," "FIFA '17," and "Madden '17."
Finally, Toys 'R' Us is giving discounts on various PS4 games. They include $10 off on "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition."
Accessories
Early shoppers can also find price drops on Sony DualShock 4 wireless controller. They are now $40 at Best Buy and GameStop.
In related news, Sony has confirmed its Black Friday PlayStation Network (PSN) sale with an odd video. The new ad shows many people standing in front of a big fan and suggests shoppers should be "cool" by enjoying PSN discounts up to 60 percent, according to GameSpot.
