In the upcoming chapter of "Fairy Tail," Larcade is expected to finish his combat with Sting as he will be using the magic to bring the ultimate human desire, sleep. It can be recalled that the Light Magi already threatened the Dragon Slayer when he told him he will be killing him once he casts the "Sleep" magic. In chapter 201, Larcade may really be serious with his threat as fans are expecting him to be killing Sting.
Previously, a battle between Sting and Larcade ensued when the former started asking questions regarding the latter's stench. Recognizing that Larcade's smell is similar with Natsu's, Sting was baffled with his discovery. Lector and others tried telling him that the Spriggan is an offspring of Zeref, who is Natsu's brother.
Despite the lecture, Sting was still skeptical to believe right away, even explaining that even though they are both related to Zeref, their scents should not be exactly the same. It was then when Larcade revealed the reason why he and Natsu's scent are identical is because they are both Zeref's son.
Larcade then attacks Sting with his Starvation Magic to which the latter immediately reacted. Seeing Fro as his food, the Dragon Slayer did not think twice devouring the creature who in turn resisted Sting's bites. Although Sting realized it was only part of Larcade's magic, his powers still cannot keep up with Larcade's.
The chapter ended with Rogue advising Sting to eat his shadow to regain sufficient energy for combat. The former encouraged him as he tried to call on a White Shadow Dragon. Meanwhile, Larcade threatened him to be casted with the ultimate human desire, sleep.
Fans over at Reddit predicted that although Rogue gave Sting a power up, it will not be enough to defeat Larcade. He also mentioned that Sting's defeat to Larcade is inevitable.
On the other hand, "Fairy Tail" followers expressed at Yonkou Productions blog that the next chapter should not be putting down all the hype Sting brought when he started fighting Larcade.
