New details and spoilers for "Stranger Things" season 2 will feature Eleven's possible appearance in episode 7 and a premiere date on July 2017.
Several rumors are making rounds regardng the possible premiere date for "Stranger Things" season 2 on Netflix. While the officia reports say that it will be in 2017, the show could likely premiere sometime within July 2017, iTechPost reported.
Although the showrunners for "Stranger Things" have not made any comment regarding the July 2017 release date, fans of show will likely look forward to an early month premiere date.
In other news, it seems that fans and audiences will get to see Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) in "Stranger Things" season 2. It is confirmed that Eleven will indeed return for season 2, but Netflix did not comment as when she will be back in the story, whether in the premiere or the later episodes.
Previous reports claimed that Brown's return to "Stranger Things 2" could have some sort of catch as her father Robert "Bobby" Brown made some "outrageous" demands for the show as he wanted to represent her daughter in every negotiation instead of talent agents.
However, actor and comedian Brett Gelman has been cast in "Stranger Things" season 2 as Murray Bauma, a disgraced journalist who come to Hawkins to investigate conspiracies surrounding a mysterious old case.
Gelman's character has been hined to have a connection to Eleven as several fan theories that Bauma be delving into the MK Ultra project of the Hawkins Lab where the pregnant Terry Ives has been a part of. During the events of season 2, Eleven got her psychic abilities as a result of the experiments made on her mother by Dr. Brenner while she was pregnant.
An Easter egg from the final episode points at the newspaper clipping about the Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) incident. From the clipping, it is said that a certain Ives is testifying alongside Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) about the illegal activities of the Hawkins Lab. The Ives that the article refers to is speculated to be Eleven's mother and that she is testifying to get help to find her missing daughter. The role of Gelman then is said to play a big role in understanding the personality of Eleven as well as in finding her.
As for Eleven, she is rumored to appear in episode 7 of season 2 titled "The Secret Cabin" theorizing that it could be her hiding place after her fight with the Demogorgon. It is unknown yet if this "cabin" is from the real world or in the Upside Down world, Looper reported.
Will Byers is also speculated to be the main antagonist in the second season as the Duffer brothers teased that Schnapp's character will suffer the effects of the Upside Down world.
Schnapp teased that Will could go crazy in "Stranger Things" season 2 due to the traumatizing experience as he struggles to be normal, but has a hard time fighting what is going on with him.
