Avid fans of the South Korean musician G-Dragon have been given the chance to meet the celebrity in person. An HIV awareness donation program will raffle a dinner engagement with the Bigbang band member in Seoul.
An HIV/AIDS awareness and donation program, launched by the non-profit organization RED in collaboration with G-Dragon, is offering a special fan event with the Bigbang band leader. Fans who will make a donation of at least $10 to the campaign will get a chance to win a private dinner with the South Korean singer.
Apart from the dinner treat, the special prize includes free round-trip tickets to Seoul, complimentary accommodations, autographed souvenirs and other Kpop memorabilia. G-dragon will also personally tour the winner around YG Entertainment's office building.
Bigbang fans can make their donations through the campaign's OMAZE page. Only one fan will be chosen, however, the winner can invite one friend to join the Seoul trip and dinner engagement with the Kpop idol.
The proceeds of RED and G-Dragon's donation program will be used to purchase ARV pills, medicines that prevent the transfer of the HIV virus to unborn babies. HIV positive pregnant mothers in sub-Saharan Africa will be given access to the said life-saving pills, a program that is part of RED's HIV/AIDS awareness activities in the area.
In other news, G-Dragon and his fellow Bigbang band members T.O.P., Daesung, Taeyang and Seungri will soon release their new album titled "MADE Full Album." YG Entertainment told local reporters on Nov. 22, Tuesday, that the said album will be released in mid-December, Yonhap News reported.
Given T.O.P.'s impending mandatory military service, Bigbang's upcoming LP will mark the last time that the five-member Kpop idol group will launch an album together. With an enlistment date set in February, the said musician will be out of the limelight for two years.
Bigbang's new album has been slated for release on Dec. 12. Watch the music video of the Kpop group's hit track "Bang Bang Bang" below:
