Bayer Leverkusen has lost two straight games after going on a two-game winning run. The team has been defeated four times in their last six outings and are currently settled at the 10th spot of the 18-team German top flight table.
Leverkusen fell to defending champions Bayern Munich, 1-2, in their most recent game last Saturday on the road at the Allianz Arena, as per Goal.

Head coach Roger Schmidt's boys were able to level the count in the 35th courtesy of a goal by Turkish attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, who converted striker Julian Brandt's assist.
However, the visitors conceded the next goal to former Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels, giving the hosts another one-point lead. Both teams went scoreless after that as Bayer was denied a win.
Meanwhile, Freiburg is coming off a 1-4 demolition in the hands of fellow newly-promoted side and current league leaders RB Leipzig at their home ground of Mage Solar Stadion last Friday, Daily Mail Online reported.
German winger Florian Niederlechner equalized the match in the 15th minute after Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita opened the scoring in the second minute. Niederlechner's shot was the only goal for head coach Christian Streich's team as the visitors scored the next three goals of the contest.
It was the third straight loss for Freiburg as they have dropped to the 11th place in the overall standings, only one point behind Bayer.
