"Titanfall 2" was released a month ago, and now, game developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher EA (Electronic Arts) have made the first free downloadable content available to some players. Called "Angel City's Most Wanted," the DLC also includes the fan-favorite Angel City map, a new weapon, and the Skin Store, all at no cost. A hard-hitting action gameplay trailer for the new map was also released.
According to Titanfall's official blog, players who pre-ordered the game were given access to the DLC on Nov. 30, while others will have to wait until Dec. 3 before they can experience the new content. It is also worth knowing that the Angel City map is the same one in the first game although it contains a fresh coat of paint.
"Titanfall 2" players will also get to enjoy a new high-caliber revolver called B3 Wingman Elite. The new pistol is versatile in any environment, is very reliable, and is not as bulky as a rifle. Still, it has enough stopping power to put an end to an adversary on their track.
Then there are also the Titan Kits included in the "Angel City's Most Wanted" DLC. Every playable Titan will receive a kit, which includes the Refraction Lens for the Ion, the Scorched Earth for Scorch, and the Threat Optics for Northstar. Tone will now have the Burts Loader, Legion gets the Hidden Compartment, and Ronin gets to receive the Phase Reflux.
The game studio also included paid cosmetic with its first expansion pack that will be available at the Skin Store. These include heavily modified Ion and Scorch Titans called Prime Titans that have upgraded chassis, new sound effects, and new execution moves. Paid Nose Arts and a special Warpaint skin are also available at the store. A new Callsign Pack that contains 20 new Callsign and 10 Callsign patches are also offered. The Nitro Scorch Pack and Camo Pack are available as well.
Respawn also put together a gameplay trailer for its new Angel City map that features the fast-paced multiplayer action that gamers will get to enjoy starting Dec. 3, if they did not pre-order the game.
"Titanfall 2" is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC platforms.
