Respawn has posted the official "Titanfall 2" PC requirements needed to run the game and it is categorized between the minimum and Ultra 4K specs.
For a multiplayer shooter game that looks intricately detailed, Titanfall 2's requirements for the PC is not as heavy compared to the other titles in the market. Most PC gamers who have budget builds would be able to run the game in its medium settings with the smoothest frame rates as possible.
Titanfall 2 Ultra 4K System Requirements
PC gamers who want to experience Titanfall 2 in its full 4K glory with the maximum settings will need at least an Intel Core i7-6700K processor or its AMD equivalent. It also requires 16GB of RAM which could be for the additional textures and such when loading the game.
Titanfall 2 also requires at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB video card for the Ultra 4K settings, PCGamesN has learned. The Pascal GPU could be enough to get at least a smooth 60 frames per second in the game to easily shoot more enemies in the way without the lag.
Unfortunately, the game is only run in DirectX 11 mode. There is no word on whether Respawn will roll out a DX12 patch in the future but that could be a small chance considering that the game already looks fantastic without all the added features of the updated graphics API.
Those who have the GeForce Titan X Pascal video card monster could probably run Titanfall 2 4K up to 144 frames per second as the maximum frame rate possible, Gamenguide reported. Of course, they would also need a monitor or TV capable of pumping out 144Hz refresh rates to see the difference.
Titanfall 2 Minimum System Requirements
The game only needs at least an Intel Core i3-3600t processor or its AMD equivalent plus 8GB of RAM for the minimum settings. Titanfall 2 at minimum would also need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB video card or the AMD Radeon HD 780 2GB.
Respawn said that the minimum spec requirements for Titanfall 2 would be able to run the game at 60 frames per second but only at the resolution of 1600 x 900. The developer believes that it is the sweet spot between budget and performance gaming for Titanfall 2.
