New details for "Overwatch" will feature the possible next DLC character in the roster and gamers complain about "Competitive Mode" season 3.
Blizzard Entertainment launch season 3 of "Competitive Mode" in "Overwatch" last week as players are making their way through placement matches. Unfortunately, not all players are enjoying season 3 as of now, due to Blizzard making slight adjustments within the game mode as players noticed that Gold and Platinum ranks are getting over populated.
As a result, players were placed too high and then found themselves losing rank quickly as the season began. Blizzard explained that the skill ratings will be more widely distributed across all tiers for "Competitive Mode" season 3. Many players will be ranked lower than expected after their Season 3 placement matches; however, this should normalize as the season progresses, TechnoBuffalo reported.
Still, players have made their complaints on the "Overwatch" forums and communities like Reddit are crying foul to the new adjustments. Essentially, they find that high-ranked players from the first and second seasons are moving up, while mid-tier players are either staying the same or dropping significantly.
Of course, this has come as Blizzard’s using previous performance and new modifications to spread people along the competitive ladder. It is still been frustrating for some who have been enjoying the game within this year.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding the next character joining "Overwatch" next year.
One of these is Doomfist has been hinted to join "Overwatch" and was featured in the first animated short of the game. According to former "Overwatch" story teller Chris Metzen, Doomfist is a generational character all using the same super-powered gauntlets for both heroics and villainy.
Three characters who have used Doomfist have been featured in "Overwatch", with two characters being named Savior and Scourge, while the other is called the Successor, in this case the next person to adopt the mantle of Doomfist and possibly a future DLC character soon.
In fact, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Terry Crews has express his interest in voicing Doomfist in "Overwatch" after a Reddit user suggest that he should provide the voice of the character.
Although it was merely a suggestion, it is not without possibility as "Overwatch" director Jeff Kaplan stated that he and Blizzard are working two heroes in the game which led to Sombra in the roster. Perhaps, the possible next character in the roster could be Doomfist, Gamerant reported.
Blizzard will be announcing the Christmas themed event in "Overwatch" sometime this month.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
