Anytime from now, spoilers for the next chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan will hit the Internet and create enormous buzz throughout the manga and anime community.
After the bombardment of jaw-dropping revelations in the past few chapters, not a single soul shall be prepared for what's in store in issue no.88 of Hajime Isayama's best-selling manga series.
However, there are few things that will most likely be present in the upcoming chapter.
Survey Corps on the cover!
Attack on Titan protagonists Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Levi Ackerman and Hanje Zoe will be gracing the cover of the January 2017 edition of Bessatsu Monthly shonen to be released on December 9.
Although it's probably a random choice to have these four Survey Corps members on the cover, it's necessary for you to know that all of these characters are the ones who read and retrieved the three journals of Dr. Yeager hidden in its basement in Shiganshina.
Perhaps, they will all have huge moments in the chapter, particular Mikasa Ackerman whose Asian ancestry remains a question up to this moment.

Continuation of Dr. Yeager's Journey to the Walled City
Of course, chapter 88 will pick up where the previous chapter left off. And it's all about the conclusion of Dr. Yeager's story as to how he obtained the power of the titan and executed his clandestine plan to recover the progenitor's titan power from the Reiss.
Great East Sea Clan
As mentioned, the identity of Great East Sea Clan or simply the Marley's other enemy from the east is still a big mystery. We all know that Mikasa is the last of her kind in the wall after years of purge done by the Reiss Family.
Other than they are immune to the power of the progenitor titan to erase and rewrite memories, there's got to be a reason why Asians are fearsome clan inside the wall. If you remember, Dr. Yeager had an investigation on this when Mikasa's father and mother were still alive. Therefore, there's no doubt this particular information is included in the journal.
Spoilers - Blogger:
- The chapter is still mostly about Grisha.
- The power of the nine titans will weaken its host and reduce lifespan to about 13 additional years (Not 100% clear if this is at the point of inheritance or if at the point of first power usage, but likely the former).
- Kruger/Owl also inherited his power 13 years ago
- Eren has about 8 years left...(And by association, Armin has 13)
- The Titans were pressing forward to fight for freedom, hence "Shingeki no Kyojin" (Which actually translates to "The Advancing Giants")
- Still awaiting 100% confirmation but very likely: Kruger's complete name? Eren Kruger.
