The MacBook Pro with Touch Bar or MacBook Pro 2016 has been one of the hottest tech commodities this year as it promised to have a lengthy battery life to both of its variants on top of its aforementioned Touch Bar selling point. However, within just a couple of months from its release, the ultraportable that created such hullabaloo is back in the spotlight yet again, as the device is as of late giving its owners quite a handful due to its battery pack concerns.
It may not be as life threatening as Samsung's extremely volatile Galaxy Note 7s, though the growing number of disgruntled users should give Apple something to worry about. The now not so proud owners of the latest MacBook claim that the battery of the device seems to drain quicker that it should.
That being said, MacRumors posted several testimonials from MacBook Touch Bar users who have experienced such inconvenience, asserting that their respective MacBooks display average battery lives that are way lower as compared to what the Cupertino tech firm had boasted at their October keynote.
ValueWalk, on the other hand, noted a rather disturbing concern that has the likings of a Note 7 fiasco. It is said that a number of users stated that the battery of the new laptop has a so-called "bubbling" issue. The report, however, did not specify if the alleged bubbling concern is through a fizzing sound inside the notebook or actual froth that comes out from the device.
Prior to such snafu, the ultraportable has been met with other concerns as it was pointed out by BGR. Reports suggest that some of the MacBook Touch Bar's graphics processing unit (GPU) is acting up while in use. Nevertheless, reports also say that Apple is as of late looking into the said issue to locate the root cause of the problem.
