Manny Pacquaio started his training camp for his much anticipated May 2 fight with Floyd Mayweather, his longtime rival. Unlike all of his training strategies in the past, now he is not locking himself in the gym.
Pacquiao, who is rumored to sing his own entrance theme for the fight, is showing-off his superb skills in the street. On his fourth day of training, the Filipino fighter showed the public his fast punches.
Originally, Pacquiao uploaded the Instagram video on a rotated 90 degrees, an angle that made all of his moves more mesmerizing.
"I'm hoping to see the flurries. I'm hoping to see the combinations. I hope Manny Pacquiao ends up being relentless, because he's going to need it if he really wants to win the fight," Keith Thurman, a welterweight entry to fight Robert Guerrero in Las Vegas on Saturday shared with the CBS Sports.
"In my opinion, Mayweather has aged quickly when compared with Pacquiao. I say this because of his conservative fighting style, but I also think he is just showing his strategic side. This is how he has chosen to fight recently. Pacquiao has still got the fire in him- well, this is how he has fought over the years," Thurman added.
The big fight is eight weeks away, but Pacquiao's camp has already heated things up, thanks to the Filipino fighter's trainer. Freddie Roach earlier in the week said that Mayweather makes poor choices and one proof is his decision of retaining his father as his trainer. He, also, encouraged Pacquaio that he should beat Mayweather for the whole world.
