It may well seem that mixed martial arts fighter and pro wrestler Brock Lesnar will not be seen inside the octagon for quite some time as the fighter was slapped with a year's suspension and at the same time fined with a hefty sum of around $250,000 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Such move by the said department was due to the fighter's failure to pass the requisite drug tests during his return bout against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 over five months ago. ESPN also stressed that the results of the did not come about until after the fight and added that the decision was implemented last July 9 as soon as the findings became known. Hence, the win that he enjoyed at UFC 200 was short lived as it was ruled by UFC as no contest.
Lesnar repudiated such claims by the NSAC saying that he is unaware of any substances that he took prior to the said fight, though, the agency is unlikely to overturn their decision.
The "Super Samoan," on the other hand, is not that impressed with the said decision and it seems to him that it's like a slight slap on the hand. Hunt is now demanding some compensation due to the possible predicament he could have incurred during the fight, MMA Fighting stated. As of late, Hunt is waiting for UFC to respond to his demands. Otherwise, the fighter will be forced to take legal actions against the fight promotions company.
Going back to the "Beast Incarnate," the WWE part-timer scored a main event fight card against the returning Bill Goldberg at this year's WWE "Survivor Series." However, he was crushed by the latter in just 86 seconds which is one of the shortest bouts in the history of the franchise.
