The team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass is one of the most popular teams in the WWE today. The development of Cass has impressed Vince McMahon which might lead to a big push. However, what about Enzo?
Ever since Enzo and Cass made their main roster debut on the night after WrestleMania 32, they have become very popular. Only a handful of WWE fans does not know the lines they used during their elaborate entrance promos.
The two are full of confidence despite not being the best wrestlers around. Enzo has his gift of gab while Cass is a big dude with potential that Vince loves to push. It should be noted that the 7-footer has only been pinned once in the main roster.
The rare night happened on the August 29 on Raw during the Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the vacant Universal championship. He got his with a Superman Punch, Super Kick and Frog Splash which shows how protected Cass is.
According to Ringside News, Vince has been more impressed with Cass' work in the past several weeks. The report noted that the WWE chairman likes how the 30-year-old makes his presence known on television, as well as his facial expressions.
This has led to speculations that Cass could be pushed as a singles star next year. He is currently in a feud with Rusev and it might WWE testing the waters. Nevertheless, the backstage segments involving Enzo, Cass, Lana and Rusev are pure entertainment.
As for Enzo, he does not have the same potential as Cass because of his diminutive size. However, he has the microphone skills to become a great manager. He can also jump to the cruiserweight division to improve his wrestling.
In a recent appearance on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, Enzo is hoping that he and Cass gets a great singles run. He went as far as comparing themselves to the team of Shawn Michaels and Diesel back in the 1990s.
"I'm hoping Big Cass gets a great singles' run and vice versa. We pull for each other in that regard. If you remember back in the day when Michaels and Diesel were running hot as tag team champions, they had the IC title and Heavyweight championship," Enzo said.
