LG G6, the flagship smartphone from the South Korean company is expected to launch in February through MWC 2017 event. New renders show that the LG g6 will not come with modular design.
The South Korean company did not get achieve impressive sales with LG G5. Critics have claimed that the company blundered by introducing modular design on LG G5. Hence, it is likely not to repeat the same mistake for the next device. In the new leaks revealed by @OnLeaks, the device appears to come with new design apart from its LG G5 design, MySmartPrice reported.
LG G6 Specifications and Features
The device is said to come with 5.3-inch display that will produce a quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It appears to have flat screen. The phone will come powered by the advanced Snapdragon 835 Soc.
The smartphone is rumored to come with dual camera lens on the rear panel. It will include a 3.5mm jack, which will be located on the top of the device.
LG G6 is said to have fingerprint scanner that will also functions as power button.. It will also have support for USB Type-C port.
LG G6 Launch Date
LG is speculated to be planning to unveil G6 during MWC 2017 event in February. After the announcement, the device is expected to be readily available for purchase. Rumors hint that the company is aiming to make a big sale in the market before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8, SoftPedia reported.

Several leaks indicate that the device will be arriving with an IP68 certified body that will be resistant to dust and water. The leaked renders indicate the phone will feature full metal body like most flagships.
It suggests that LG would be finally ditching the modular design for its upcoming phone. It also indicates that it won't feature a removable battery.

LG G5 comes with 5.3-inch quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and Adreno 530 graphics. The device comes packed with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
Other features include microSD storage support, 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual rear camera and 8-megapixel front facing camera and 2,800 mAh battery. Since is a modular phone, LG had announced various accessories for the smartphone such as additional battery, 360 cam and more.
