Viewers of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest" got a steamy surprise when Universal released the new TV spot of "Fifty Shades Darker" during the show's commercial break. The recently aired footage features returning cast members, Dakota Johnson as Ana and Jamie Dornan as Christian, along with Bella Heathcote who appears as a mysterious woman.
The teaser of "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel begins with Ana dishing on her relationship to her friends, after which she is seen being followed by a woman. Elsewhere, Christian stumbles upon Ana's Audi A3, now battered and covered in paint, another scene directly lifted from the source book.
The TV spot also shows the two characters sharing a sizzling make out session after getting stuck in a rain storm as well as cuddling in bed together. The video also includes the Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik hit song" I Don't Wanna Live Forever," which plays in the background.
The upcoming movie will also feature Kim Bassinger as infamous Mrs Robinson, the old woman who introduced him to his kinky lifestyles. Actor Tyler Hoechlin will appear as Ana's co-worker while Rita Ora and Victor Razuk will also feature in the movie. Hugh Dancy will appear as John Flynn, who will make his first appearance as Christian's psychiatrist.
Although "Fifty Shades of Darker" sequel will not have any frontal nudity, the film is sprinkled with a generous quantity of steamy sex scenes. In an exclusive talk about how such scenes are shot, cinematographer Seamus McGarvey told New York Times that Dornan's private parts were covered throughout the filming. Also, Johnson had a patch over her pubic area.
McGarvey also revealed that sex scenes for "Fifty Shades of Grey" were shot with two cameras to avoid numerous takes. "Fifty Shades Darker" is set to release on Feb. 10.
Meanwhile, Johnson took a break from work to spend Christmas with her family, including mom Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson in Aspen, Daily Mail reported. Griffith had finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Antonio Banderas recently and continues to remain single, just like her daughter.
