AMD Ryzen specs, price, and release date continue to be highly sought by gamers and enthusiasts worldwide. With Zen based CPU being complemented by Vega GPU at CES 2017 event, consumers have become more excited of its arrival.
It is to be expected that anticipating gamers and AMD fans worldwide would really like to learn more about Ryzen's performance. Although no details yet were given by the company, a video of an AMD Ryzen and Vega GPU setup somehow speaks for gaming performance of both devices.
A video surfaced yesterday showcasing an advance display of AMD running Ryzen CPU and Vega GPU hours before the start of CES 2017. On the said advance preview of Zen in action, a Star Wars: Battlefront game was being played at 4K resolution and was getting a solid 60 frame per second.
Although details are still scarce up to now, the setup accordingly includes 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen chip running at 3.4 GHz and the mysterious Vega GPU, according to Think Computers the original video source. Thus, making AMD's upcoming Zen based processor and Vega GPU promising and more enticing for gamers.
With the displayed performance of AMD Ryzen coupled with a powerful GPU, it cannot be denied that AMD will somehow be a threat for Intel this year. After a few attempts of dominating the CPU industry, AMD might be on the right track with their Ryzen processor leading the way and as what recent benchmarks would likewise suggest, according to Yahoo.
As of the current writing, AMD has yet to reveal the full specs and performance of Ryzen. However, rumors suggest that AMD's overclocking prowess will be a head turner for most consumers, allegedly clocking 5Ghz on a single core. The said processor with such promising performance will likely be within $500 price point and will be released in Q1 of this year, as mentioned in a separate report.
