The new patch changed many features in the video game for balance and additional features that could give an advantage to other classes. Some of the changes are the Barbarian's Overpower feature, which now has three charges, and the cooldown per charge will now have a chance to be reduced slightly by critical strikes. There were bug fixes applied to the Monk and Wizard skills that gave problems before the patch.

For the items, several new features were added like the new Legendary Gem called the Red Soulstone Shard. It unleashes a ring of Fire that inflicts 12,500 percent weapon damage to enemies it passes through. There some class specific items that have been updated too with new powers for each of the six classes.

On Adventure mode, several features have been adjusted with the latest patch like the Rifts. The Cesspools map has been adjusted, which made the overall map size and the enemy density reduced for balance. Some bug fixes were also implemented to fix several issues.

It will only be available for the whole month of January, which is why Blizzard is urging fans to get this update right away. They can access it through a portal after hunting down cultists and looting the missives from their bodies.

This will be located in the ruins of Old Tristram, which will host a mysterious portal within. Deep beneath the catacombs, the Dark Lord will wait for the adventurer and challenge them to a battle. Players who finish this dungeon will be rewarded with Transmogrification items, achievements, and a lot more.
