"Lucifer" Season 2 will soon reveal which side Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) is really on.

In the previous episodes, Amenadiel has been playing both sides of the fence. At one point, he was Lucifer Morningstar's (Tom Ellis) biggest ally, and at one point, he was working for his mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer).
While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Ildy Modrovich confirmed that big things are in store for the character. However, even though Amenadiel has already picked a side, this does not mean that he made the right choice. Towards the end of Season 2, the male character will realize that he might have made a mistake, but will it be too late for him to revert his decision?
Meanwhile, Modrovich also talked about Lucifer and Chloe Decker's (Lauren German) relationship. Since the former will soon find out that the latter is a miracle baby, Lucifer might give Chloe some sort of special treatment. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Charlotte.
Lucifer and Amenadiel's mom will use Chloe as a weapon to encourage Lucifer to return to hell, and she will not stop until she gets a yes. With this, Lucifer and Chloe's relationship will be greatly affected by Charlotte's dirty deeds.
Elsewhere, Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) will also have a heated and physical confrontation with Lucifer. According to the showrunner, she will literally be hurting Lucifer in an upcoming episode.
In other news, Ella (Aimee Garcia) may also be hiding a huge secret that could shake up the lives of the characters in the show. Previously, the character was described as a religious woman of science who will challenge Lucifer to look at things from a different perspective.
According to Deadline, the forensic scientist grew up in a pretty rough neighborhood in Detroit. She also grew up with five brothers. She has mutual beliefs for both science and faith which are known to sometimes be in conflict with each other.
"Lucifer" Season 2 will return with episode 11 on Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
