After videos and photos of Bigbang's G-Dragon protecting Sandara Park after a concert went viral, fans were quick to speculate about the status of the two popular K-pop artists' relationship. The videos and photos were posted online after Bigbang's concert in Seoul on Jan.8, instantly becoming the talk of the town.
The videos show G-Dragon shielding Sandara from a huge crowd of fans after his concert and walking her carefully to their company car as they make their exit from the venue. Since the girl in the video is covering her entire face, there is no way to identify her identity. However, photos of the former 2NE1 member during the concert seem to confirm that it is indeed her.
In the videos, the male bodyguards are seen yelling loudly at the fans, asking them to give way. While the rest of the Bigbang members walk ahead, G-Dragon follows behind, holding very closely the girl presumed to be Sandara Park. At one point in the viral video, the hoodie which the girl uses to hide herself drops down, revealing her hairstyle. Fans claim that Sandara's blonde ponytail during the concert is similar to the hairstyle of the girl that G-Dragon is holding in the video.
The videos also allegedly show G-Dragon kissing Sandara Park on her head. Since the videos went viral, fans were quick to notice that at one point during the quick video, G-Dragon kisses Sandara. While the moment lasts for just a few seconds, some fans are positive that the girl is Sandara and that something is going on between the two, Koreaboo reported.
Rumors about G-Dragon and Sandara's dating status first surfaced in 2015. The said rumors started to erupt when Sandara posted a photo of herself with her new purple-dyed hair, which was followed by G-Dragon also posting a photo of himself with the same color. They were also spotted several times wearing couple items.
The rumored couple instantly became a hit among fans, earning them the name "Daragon." Fans even note that given their similar fashion sense and style, they are a match made in heaven, according to Asia Starz.
