Leicester City is on a two-game unbeaten run after being winless in the three previous rounds. The team is currently settled in the 15th spot of the league table, six points above the bottom three relegation area and a far 20 points away from the Europa League qualifying berth for next season presently occupied by Arsenal.

In their last Premier League fixture on Jan. 2, the Foxes were held to a goalless draw by newly-promoted side Middlesbrough on the road at the Riverside Stadium, as per SkySports.

The Boro's Gaston Ramirez almost scored a goal in the 83rd minute, but his shot was wide off the net of Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Head coach Claudio Ranieri's side also had their chance to win the contest, but Welsh midfielder Andy King's injury time header was blocked by Boro keeper Brad Guzan.

Meanwhile, Chelsea failed to pull off a Premier League record 14th straight win as fellow contenders Tottenham Hotspur blanked them, 0-2, on the road at the White Hart Lane on Jan. 4, The Guardian reported.

English midfielder Dele Alli nodded home two assists from Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in the 45th+1 and 54th minutes to snap the Blues' 13-game winning streak.

Head coach Antonio Conte's squad failed to score a goal for the first time in 14 games but retained their top spot in the English top flight's overall standings. They are now only five points ahead of closest pursuer Liverpool.
