Samsung has finally addressed one glaring problem for their 4K TVs. The South Korean tech giant has revealed their new Invisible cable that will help immensely in the visual appeal of their products.
One common problem for customers who own Samsung 4K TVs or any other television for the matter is that the cables often look cluttered and ugly. The black cables are also large and bulky which makes it hard to hide them in living room setups.
Users often just try to hide it behind the television or table but it may destroy the quality of the cables itself because of bending. Samsung's new QLED TV series will now include one transparent Invisible Connection cable that will look pleasant in any setup, Daily Star has learned.
Samsung Electronics America Senior VP of Consumer Electronics Dave Das said during their CES 2017 presentation that the new cable is a solution for cluttered connections at home. He added that the focus should be on the content that is on the screen and not its surroundings.
Another product reveal was a new no-gap wall-mount that will also add pleasantness to QLED 4K TV setups at home. It reduces the space used inside a room without having to sacrifice quality.
Sony also launched their new line of Z Series TVs in 2016 which allows the cables to be hidden behind. It may be preferred by other users instead of using Samsung's Invisible cable.
Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai told Express Online that it is his passion to ensure that the company's products should be something that he would be proud to show his family. Their new Z Series TVs solves the problem of cable clutter in another way.
"I said, I don't want to see a single piece of cable coming out of a TV ever again and our new cable management took three years to perfect," said Hirai.
Samsung's new QLED TVs and Invisible cables will be available in the following weeks. Sony's Z Series TV are already available in the market.
