Nokia has finally launch again with the arrival of Nokia 6 smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) that is expected to launch soon will face fierce competition from Nokia 6. Here is a comparison of specifications, features and price between the two devices.

Design and Display

The unibody metal body of Nokia that is built with series 6000 aluminum measures 154 x 75.8 x 8.4 mm. Like its predecessors, the Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to feature full metallic chassis. The rear camera seems to be placed on a metallic strip that runs horizontally. Leaked information suggest that it measures 151.3 x 76.2 x 8 mm.

The Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch full HD display. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) too is expected to house a same-sized full HD screen.

Chipset, RAM and Storage

The Snapdragon 430 SoC powers the Nokia 6 along with 4 GB of RAM. It offers a native storage of 64 GB and comes with microSD card support.

The Snapdragon 625 SoC is pegged to power Galaxy J7 (2017). An Exynos SoC driven model is also rumored to be in works. It is expected to come 2 GB and 3 GB RAM and 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants. It will also include a microSD card slot.

Camera and Software

The Nokia 6 has a 16-megapixel rear camera enabled with dual LED flash. It has a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. The smartphone comes preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. It is likely to come with 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is rumored to come pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Battery and Price

A 3,000 mAh battery with fast charge support is present inside Nokia 6. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is also poised to include a fast charge enabled 3,000 mAh battery.

The Nokia 6 has been announced with a pricing of around $245 in China. The Galaxy J7 (2017) has not been announced yet, but speculations indicate it will be priced around $200 to $220 for the base model. It is expected to launch in Q1 this year.
