Rain and longtime girlfriend Kim Tae Hee are getting ready to walk down the aisle soon. Following several wedding rumors and paparazzi run-ins, the singer-songwriter just confirmed that he and the "Yong-Pal" actress are now engaged.
Earlier this week, Rain and Kim have been caught in another marriage rumor. The former then immediately shrugged off the claims during the Jan. 14 broadcast of JTBC's "Knowing Bros" and stated that they are currently focusing on their individual career.
Just days after he downplayed marriage talks, the "Please Come Back, Mister" actor confirmed marriage plans with Kim through a handwritten letter on his Instagram account. In the letter, the singer said that he is now ready to be a good husband and the head of a household.

Rain went ahead to say that Kim has always been there for him in sad times and happy times. Since their trust and love for each other have grown, they decided to take the leap.
However, Rain refused to share details of their destination wedding, saying they want to keep the occasion private. He then asked the support and understanding of his fans at home and abroad, assuring them that he will continue to work hard in whatever endeavor he undertakes in the future.
The actress' entertainment label Lua Entertainment then confirmed the good news through a press released statement. In a press statement obtained by All Kpop, the label revealed the couple plan on tying the knot under the guidance of the Catholic church.
"We cannot reveal the time and place of the wedding, for which we apologize," the label said. "They will hold a small and meaningful ceremony with only their families present, and have not yet made any plans for a honeymoon."
Meanwhile, Rain just made his comeback into the spotlight with a new single titled "The Best Present." The comeback song, which was produced by singer PSY, was released on Jan. 15, Sunday.
Further, the singer-turned-actor will star opposite Victoria Song in the upcoming Chinese drama "Endless August," Korean newsoutlet My Daily reported. Though the drama's exact release date has yet to be determined, the two plays the character of Qiao and Wei Wang, respectively.
