Jung Joon-Hyung's time on "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" is over, but actor Nam Joo Hyuk has plenty of plans for his career after the MBC drama. Just recently, the 22-year-old actor revealed what kind of role he wants to play next.

Earlier this week, Nam sat down for an interview with the local media to talk about his common character image. After portraying a lighthearted person in various television dramas, the actor revealed he would like to play a villain in his future projects.

"I think the only way to show people that I'm more versatile is through my acting," Soompi quoted Nam as saying. "There are many genres and roles I want to try out; for example, the role of a rebellious, bad guy, and also the role of a really devoted son who cares deeply about his family."

Nam, who showed bromance with M.I.B's Kangnam in JTBC's "Off to School," then admitted he gets nauseous when he stars in any variety shows. He said he felt the intense pressure of making people laugh, which was actually hard for him.

Despite the nervousness, Nam said he is willing to appear on tvN's reality cooking show titled "Three Meals a Day" anytime. The show itself is incredible, but what made it even better was that he had the opportunity to talk to veteran actors Cha Seung Won and Yu Hae Jin.

If it were not for "Three Meals a Day," it would have been difficult to share a meal with seniors like them. Since it is a reality cooking show, one can move around freely with the camera on and the day goes quickly when one cook and wash dishes, Nam added.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Nam and co-star Lee Sung Kyung cried after the final scene of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." It came to light when the MBC drama released a behind-the-scene video of the last filming day on Jan. 12, Thursday, according to Korean newsoutlet Insight.

Right after the filming of the final scene ended, both Nam and Lee received appreciation awards called "MBC Drama Grand Prize" from producing-director Oh Hyun-Jong. It apparently made the on-screen lovers burst out in tears, thanking everyone for making the coming-of-age sports drama a success.
